Only authorized dealers have access to the software to tune bikes. The bad thing is the you can't use RapidBike sw. Traction Control (with ZFi TC module that has QS as well)įlashing won't give you Traction Control, AutoTune and 2 maps compared to Bazzaz Fuel Maps for 8 injectors(with ZFi module) Autotune (with an additional AT module and wideband sensor)įlashing won't give you is the AutoTune and 2 maps compared to Dynojet power output from 10 up to 15 Horsepower 20 to 30hp upgardes. Maicson Ecu Tuning has performance and economical engine remaps for the majority of the modern EFI / injection Yamaha range, including the F50, F60 and F70 outboards. Secondary Fuel Injectors (with an additional SFM module) Our Yamaha tuning offers an unparalleled boating experience and can be easily installed in your vessel. Quickshifter (with an additional QS hw) Ignition (with an additional ignition module) Now I know almost every time the o2 sensor is removed but if you're flashing the ecu and aren't using any products that have their own o2 sensor wouldn't you want to leave that in to read the exhaust and make its own adjustments based on what you changed the fuel maps too?īTW, forgot to mention about the other modules. What in hell is YCC-T Race Throttle? (Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle) So what throttle base restrictions are there and how do they work? ?Bypassing the factory o2 sensor for better throttle response Race ignition timing (for premium pump gas) Could someone please explain them to me and if anyone has any experience with having your ecu flashed vs using dynojet or bazzaz let me know what you thought was better. Im used to dealing with gsxr's and have no idea what half of the flash options are. I plan on buying all the upgrades throughout the year and just ripping down the bike the day I get it. Not aware of any street bike failures though.Ok so Im researching R6's for the 2015 season. Also said to increase fuel economy and the rev limiter changes to 6400. PS: IIRC the 2009 GSXR1000's snapped cranks when race tuners tried to squeeze more power of the motors. Does anyone have any experience with the Nizpro Marine ECU flashing for a Yamaha 250 sho It is supposed to increase your horsepower to 320 hp and increase your torque by 5. Personally, since my r1 is a streetbike first and doesn't see the track as often as my 750 does, I'm not going to worry about the sky falling here. Or just cruise at your normal speed with lower revs and less engine noise with improved overall fuel economy. I'd say that the rev limiter is there for a reason.Īs for the R6's eating their crankshafts Tim said that they've been doing so "for years." I'm not a regular on the R6 forum but I can say that from all the racers and trackday regulars I know (and it's a substantial number), I have not heard of crankshaft failures on those bikes. The Nizpro Marine 332HO Performance Repower is a cost effective, simple way of turning your engine into a 332hp monster: improving hole shot, mid-range acceleration and top speed. Just how hard these bikes are being pushed on the track, though? Are they tuned to the ragged edge, with the maximum rpm's being exceeded on a regular basis? Tim Radley states that they're back to "near stock rpm limit" on their R1 racebikes. I wonder if the failures are occurring on the 2015's, the 2016's with the additional support from the added bearing, or all years? Eric's phrase "FOR RACING" stood out.
